Embody: A Slow Flow Yoga Series
In a world that's stuck in their heads and lost in their thoughts, Embody creates a space where you can return to your body.
With mindful breathwork, gentle movement, and intentional community, this class invites you to swap productivity for presence, and self-comparison for self-compassion. Whether you're just learning to slow down or enjoy regular moments of grounded silence or mindful movement, this class welcomes you as you are. :)

Location: Chevy Chase Community Center (Dance Room)
Our beginner-friendly slow flow is infused with uplifting reminders and body cues to promote body awareness and make granting yourself permission to relax, let go, and "just be" a little easier.
Mats available upon request.

Meet Dira!
Dira is a certified yoga teacher, elite runner, coach, and business owner who creates spaces for athletes, moms, and busy bodies to shift gears and to soften.
As a high-performer and recovering perfectionist, Dira knows what it means to consistently strive and push to get the most out of her body. However, when injury sidelined her running dreams, she quickly learned that her body was more than a means to an end, but a safe home to care for and listen to.
With her calming presence and thoughtful sequences, her classes are an invitation to pause, relax, and exhale from a lifestyle of high-productivity and performance.
She hopes to guide others along their journey of self-trust and self-love toward finding both deeper connection, safety and presence in their body.
