Embodied Week: Life Drawing WorkshopThis session is part of Embodied Week at the Gallery - a body‑positive program of movement and making inspired by Tyza Hart: Appearing, an exhibition exploring embodied experience and self‑representation.
Life Drawing is a guided creative session working from a live model, amongst the powerful works of the Tyza Hart exhibtion. Participants are invited to slow down, observe deeply and engage with the human form through a lens of respect, diversity and body positivity.
Facilitated by Jo Burnett, participants will be guided through a series of structured drawing exercises suitable for both beginners and experienced artists. The focus is on observation, expression and celebrating the beauty and individuality of the human body.

Jo Burnett, your Life Drawing facilitator for this session, is an Illustrator + Graphic Designer + Painter + Animator
Jo's practice moves through sociopolitical issues, their own experiences with mental health and mundane day to day life.
Their art expresses a vulnerability shown through a vomit of bold colours and humour.
Jo has been the hostest of the mostest for the past 6 years.
From Life drawing, Exhibitions, Events and Workshops, Jo has been in amongst the arts community in whatever way they can.
