12 Yoga Alliance CEUsThis certification is for educators and yoga teachers who want to work with children in ways that are developmentally appropriate, trauma-informed, and grounded in real classroom experience.
Led by Chrissy Lewin- a certified K–6 educator, trauma-informed educator and yoga teacher,, certified kids yoga and trauma yoga teacher, 200 hour certified yoga teacher, and Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider, this training integrates kids yoga, mindfulness, nervous system awareness, and holistic education into practical tools you can actually use.
A central focus is finding your voice as a teacher- learning to lead with presence, clarity, and authenticity rather than scripts, performance, or compliance-based practices.
You’ll explore how to:
• Teach kids yoga and mindful movement through a trauma-informed lens
• Create safe, inclusive, choice-based environments
• Support regulation without forcing calm
• Integrate yoga and mindfulness into real classrooms and youth spaces
This training is not about being louder or more entertaining.
It’s about becoming steadier, more attuned, and more confident in how you teach. You will get the tools you need to run an effective kids yoga class in a studio, classroom, and beyond.
Participants earn 12 Yoga Alliance CEUs upon completion.
