Embodied Self: Therapeutic Sound Journey

So often we go through life unaware of the ways we are showing up, we live in a world that often creates disconnection. But, when we nurture deeper connection to ourselves and others, we can access parts of ourselves that hold our greatest strengths. During this therapeutic sound journey, you are invited to engage in self exploration, be curious, and connect to your felt sensations.

The sound bath will begin with a guided meditation and be facilitated using a variety of seven different healing instruments including crystal singing bowls and a chau gong. The healing frequencies of the sounds will create high energy vibrations that fill the community space and resonate with the energy in our physical bodies and mental space.

Sound baths have been shown to:

~promote deep relaxation and mental clarity

~reduce stress and chronic pain

~strengthen the mind/body connection

~aid in better sleep

Following the sound bath there will be space for reflective journaling and community dialogue. Each month we will explore a new theme of embodiment that can support you in your daily life and personal wellness journey.

Please bring a yoga mat/blanket, journal, and any items to help you relax and fully engage in this practice (eye mask, pillows, etc.). Be sure to dress comfortably and come with an open heart and mind.
