What is Ancestral Lineage Healing?
Ancestral lineage healing is a profound spiritual practice that allows us to reconnect with our roots honor the collective wisdom of our ancestors and transform generational wounds into opportunities for growth and renewal. By engaging with the energy and experiences of those who came before us we can heal past traumas release burdens and move forward in embodying our most loving and present selves in our journey of growth.
To honor this practice on The Day of the Dead we will be creating an altar in our space. If you feel called to participate you are welcome to bring an item that commemorates a loved one who has passed such as a photograph a personal memento or something meaningful to their memory.
What is an Altar and How is it Used?
An altar is a sacred space dedicated to prayer reflection and remembrance. It serves as a visual focal point for spiritual intentions affirmations and the energy you wish to channel. Altars can be used to connect with ancestors the divine or the universe itself. Offerings placed on the altar may include photos of loved ones their favorite items such as fruits or flowers or other meaningful symbols of remembrance. It is a place where the spiritual and the material meet a conduit for honoring those who came before and for focusing your own spiritual energy.
