🗣“I looked at many colleges, but they didn’t seem to fit my characteristics and what I was looking for for the future. EMA just stood out – it was the perfect fit. It was everything I was looking for in a college. My timetable is nicely done, and I think the teachers here are really nice and friendly and they have kind voices!” – Charlotte, EMA Student
TWO CAMPUSES IN DORSET.
📍Moreton, near Dorchester
Set within The Walled Garden, a five-acre formal garden, Moreton is designed to support students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) to achieve their potential through a combination of education and hands-on learning experiences in real working environments such as The Dovecote Café, formal gardens, and alongside our animals (such as goats, guinea pigs, and reptiles). The site is open to the public as a visitor attraction and students learn both independence and employability skills in their chosen areas, as well as maths, english, and digital skills.
📍Gillingham, North Dorset
Our Gillingham campus does not have areas open to the public, and is an environment designed to meet the needs of students with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD), anxiety disorders, and other special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The campus has a focus on preparation for adulthood themes, with dedicated classrooms, multi-use games area, an independent living suite, along with a hospitality training space providing students with an immersive learning experience as they develop their skills and independence.
🗣“One of the best things about EMA here in Gillingham is the deep pressure and physio sessions. I wanted to give thanks to EMA staff for helping me start achieving my goals. I’m very happy – thank you all very much!” – Ben, EMA Student

🟢 What do parents say about EMA?
🗣"For the first time in his ‘school’ life, we’ve found a team and placement of amazing, non‑judgemental individuals who welcome and encourage my son in ways not before experienced. I feel I can leave the premises and relax, without expecting a call telling me to collect Ru because he’s ‘too much’ and they can’t, or won’t, cope." - Karen
🗣"I must say that EMA’s Supported Internship programme has proved invaluable for my son. He has progressed enormously, beyond what many people thought might be possible. Thanks to everyone at EMA for supporting him – and for this initiative.” - Mike
🗣"I would definitely recommend EMA to other parents that are looking for an amazing package for their young adult. My son has grown up and achieved so much in the short time that he has been there. I am looking forward to the future. He loves the responsibility that he has been given and thrives on the friendships that he has made. He is becoming a confident young man willing to try new things." – Vikki
🗣"EMA offers a secure, educational, and professional setting for our daughter. The staff supports her in exploring new opportunities and reaching her potential. EMA were very supportive in helping us to persuade Dorset Council that it is vital for our daughter to stay in education. Their guidance and advocacy made a significant difference in ensuring she could continue to benefit from the specialised programs and environment that EMA offers.
I highly recommend EMA to anyone seeking a specialist college for their child." – Gabi
