We are please to confirm that our next Model Railway Exhibition in Ely will be on Saturday 17th May 2025. Last year's move (at relatively short notice) to the new buildings at Ely College worked well and the Exhibition will once again be in these new halls. We learnt a lot how this space works and we hope to have (even) better arrangements for a few things.The FREE vintage coach shuttle will again run at intervals throughout the day to/from Ely College and Tesco's Bus stop, opposite Tesco's Petrol Station (which is NEAR but not at Ely Railway Station - a 5-minute walk round the side and front of Tesco's). Donations on the coach to Macmillan Nurses please.
Many of you will appreciate that for a number of years we've held the entrance price rock solid, despite significant year-on-year rising costs for van hire, transport and meal expenses to our invited layouts plus rising costs of hiring the halls. This year we have had to yield to the inevitable and increase the Adult entrance price by a modest 50p - Note that we have kept all other prices exactly as before.
Our shows are planned 1-2 years in advance. Details about all the invited layouts and traders will be posted on here as soon as the Exhibition organising team have collated the information and passed it to me - hopefully in the next couple of weeks.
