This ceremony honors the scholarly persistence, intellectual growth, and collective community that mark this pivotal transition in the doctoral journey. The evening centers on reflection, affirmation, and readiness for dissertation work, while welcoming family, mentors, and supporters to share in the moment.
The program will include opening remarks from ELPS leadership, a formal charge to candidates, a collective candidate pledge, and the pinning of each EdD candidate by their dissertation chair or ELPS representative. Light refreshments and fellowship will follow the ceremony.
