About this Event

Are you worried about your child running off or wandering away from home? This one-hour class provides strategies for reducing the risk of elopement to help make your home safer for your ASD/DD child, as well as provide information on how to help your child should s/he become lost. Suggestions for how to teach your child to hold your hand and how to teach her/him to “stop” when directed will also be shared. This class is geared toward parents and caregivers of autistic children, but all with developmental delays or disabilities are welcome to attend.
