Join disability advocate Eliza Hull in this inclusive songwriting workshop.Eliza Hull is an award-winning musician, author, and disability advocate within the music space. With an expansive body of work spanning television, radio, and film, her songs have been featured on ABC KIDS TV, The Heights and in US shows Awkward, Teen Wolf and Saving Hope. Having performed at the Sydney Opera House, SXSW, and Ability Fest, Eliza continues to establish herself as one of Australia’s most striking songwriters.
Eliza believes that everybody has a story, and she will share how you can tap into yours through song.
During this songwriting workshop, Eliza will share insight into writing a song and helpful prompts for times when inspiration doesn’t strike. Whether you’re a seasoned songwriter, or have never written a song before, this session is for all abilities and will cover collaborative rhythm making, lyric writing, melodic hooks, writing to a brief and song structure. With accessibility at the heart of this inclusive workshop, each person will have the start of a song by the end of the session.
