Discover the rich history of Elitch Gardens, which opened in 1890 with vaudeville acts inspired by Shakespeare's Globe Theatre and hosted legends like Grace Kelly and Mickey Rooney.
Learn about the theatre's incredible restoration journey, which began in 2002 to preserve this historic venue. With extensive renovations completed, including exterior restorations and safety upgrades, the theater is now a testament to Denver's dedication to preserving its cultural heritage.
