On Saturday, Sept. 6th, at 9am, on the west steps of Elgin City Hall, at 150 Dexter, there will be a Patriots Day Ceremony to Honor those First Responders who lost their lives on that fateful day of Sept.11th, 2001. Elgin's Mayor Kaptain, Fire Chief Cagaan, Police Commander Lencioni, and American Legion Post 57 Commander Dennis Beach will be keynote speakers at this event. Parking is available.
