ELEVATION brings to Ahmedabad a striking double bill of contemporary aerial performance exploring suspension, gravity, and the human drive to rise.
Presented together as ELEVATION, the two pieces performed by Lucas Struna & Devi Das trace a continuous journey of descent and rise. In Opening, Struna interprets Bourgeois’ search for stillness in motion; in Le Mât, he explores vertical ascent and cultural dialogue between France and India.
The performance will be held at Kanoria Centre for Arts, designed by the legendary B.V. Doshi, offering a stunning architectural backdrop. The date marks the third anniversary of Doshi’s passing, adding a special resonance to this tribute to movement, space and elevation.
