Join us for the 2nd Annual celebration of the remarkable community leaders who have played a pivotal role in shaping the African American journey within the historic Albina/Elliott neighborhoods of NE Portland.

Remembering Rosa Parks is a special celebration featuring local musicians, elected officials, and city leaders, all coming together to commemorate the spirit and enduring legacy of Rosa Parks. We will honor the families who lived, worked, attended school, and worshipped in the historic Albina/Elliott neighborhoods, while also recognizing the remarkable contributions of local Black women whose dedication has made a lasting impact on the community. This event highlights the impact of those involved in Public Service, Public Schools, Neighborhood Businesses, Local Nonprofits, Community Service, and more.
This celebration affirms the continued relevance of our vibrant and historic Black neighborhoods, ensuring that their legacy remains honored for generations to come.
