Costuming 101: Rhinestones and Embellishments
Join Frankie Fictitious for a rhinestone workshop that goes beyond the basics. Frankie will walk you through how she personally approaches costuming — from initial concept to final stone placement — sharing her favorite techniques, shortcuts, layout tricks, and the little details that make a piece feel expensive and powerful on stage.We’ll cover composition, flow, color pairing, density, layering, and how to build texture so your pieces will catch the most light.
Level: Beginner to Advanced
No experience necessary — whether you’re stoning your first piece or refining your signature look, you’ll leave with practical tools and a sharper creative eye.

About The Instructor:
Frankie Fictitious is an internationally celebrated burlesque artist, producer, and creative visionary. Crowned Miss Exotic World and Miss Viva Las Vegas, she has been named one of the Top 50 Most Influential Burlesque Performers Worldwide, and was named the #1 Burlesque Act by Risky Spotlight Magazine. She was also a featured artist in Dita Von Teese’s Night of the Teese.As an Asian American artist, Frankie’s work is deeply tied to identity and reclaiming space through performance.Frankie is the creator and curator of Glamarati, a queer high glam nightlife experience defined by rebellion and self expression. Frankie is based in the San Francisco and travels worldwide. Frankie continues to push burlesque forward with her bold vision and undeniable presence.
