About this Event
Welcome to the Elementary Institute of Science 60th Anniversary Celebration! Join us on Thursday September 26th at the San Diego Central Library for an evening celebrating six decades of inspiring young minds and fostering a love for science and technology. Don't miss out on this milestone event - mark your calendars and spread the word!
Your ticket will support hands-on science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) programs for underserved youth. The Elementary Institute of Science (EIS) is an educational equity organization with science as our engine. The EIS mission is inspiring a love of science and creating opportunity for diverse children and youth. EIS collaborates with schools, parents, businesses, and community partners to engage students in authentic, hands-on science learning. Our after-school, weekend, and school partnership programs broaden access to quality STEM education, foster critical thinking, expand technical skills, and encourage students to pursue STEM careers. EIS programs are focused on underserved students (ages 7-17) in the community of southeastern San Diego.
