Arthropods are everywhere, whether it’s the ant crawling along a fence post, a honeybee gathering pollen or the crab you ate for dinner. They are one of the most diverse and abundant groups in the animal kingdom. Through hands-on activities that include microscope work and field observations, participants will conduct an up-close investigation of some of the most common Arthropods, breaking down what makes them special and how they can fill so many unique roles.All parents must stay with participants for the entirety of the program and be prepared to spend time outdoors. Advance registration is required.
