Thanksgiving!Thanksgiving, as the name suggests, is a time to give thanks for all the wonderful people and things in our lives. People celebrate Thanksgiving in many different ways. This month, participants will explore what Thanksgiving is all about, hunt for food to make a feast, and create a cornucopia to take home.
“Elementary Explorers” is an interactive series of children’s programming that brings fun facts and activities out of the past!
The series, targeted at ages 5-9, will be held monthly. Each month will feature a different activity and craft inspired by local history.
A Parent/guardian must accompany their children.
This program is FREE thanks to a Power of Change grant from the Rappahannock Electric Cooperative.
THIS EVENT IS STRICTLY LIMITED TO 15 CHILDREN. PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED!
Participants may be photographed for use in museum promotional and marketing material.
