Happy Spring!I am going to be starting another round of the Elemental Witchcraft Course. Woventear created this course many years ago to be a comprehensive series of classes for beginners and experienced persons alike. I had been learning and practicing for 13 years when I took the course and still learned a lot of information from it. Some I had ignored or overlooked, and some I hadnt't heard of before. It preserves the traditions passed on from Woventear to her apprentices, and I now pass on to my apprentices.
The Elemental Witchcraft Course is broken up into two separate courses, 1st-3rd Degree and 4th-5th Degree. Each of the two course is 13 classes, the frequency will be determined by those who show up at the first class; ex. once a week, every two weeks, once a month, etc. As not everyone will be able to match with everyone elses' schedule, it may possible to divide those in attendance to different days and times.
What to Expect:
This course is made up of introductory classes that are designed to help get things started in many areas of magic and witchcraft. Some classes will be more in depth than others, depending on time allowance and topic. This course is not the end all be all, but a great journey. Being an Elemental Witchcraft Tradition, we will naturally be going over the Elements, not just correspondences but how to get in to working with them, as well as herbalism, divination (including the origins and practices of Tarot), different forms of spellwork, why spells work and what to do when they don't, as well as tips, techniques, and recipes. There will be homework assignments as well as recommended reading for further study in topics covered in class.
The first class is on Saturday, May 16th, at 1:00pm and will be held at Manitou Dog Park at 2001 S. Manitou Avenue, Boise, Idaho 83706. We will be on either the north side of the parking lot at the gazebo by the bathrooms, or the south side underneath the trees.
What to Bring:
Bring a notebook and a writing utensil. Some have utilized their phones to make audio recordings of the class to review later. This does not replace paying attention and interacting in class. There will be hands-on activities with many of the classes, so you can't just sit back and watch. Feel free to bring drinks and snacks, either for yourself or to share with others.
This course is $390 and I can do payment arrangements. This helps cover the cost of the materials that are provided in the classes.
