The Elemental Course runs for10 weeks frm January 14th to March 25th, with a break for half term.
Classes are for two hours on Wednesday mornings from 10 am to 12noon. Time is allowed before and after the sessin to set up and clear up.
About the course: For beginner and improvers.
The theme this term is ‘Elemental’ including fire, air and water to give your artwork an added sense of depth, life, and drama and add to the composition. Classes will include demonstrations and instruction in drawing and painting in a range of mediums including gold leaf, graphite, coloured pencils, pastels, watercolour, and acrylic. Students are however free to use their own favourite materials. Some materials will be available for experimentation.
What to bring: Please bring an apron or wear old clothes - paint can stain. You might like to bring some paper, a drawing board, and your favourite materials. however basic papers, and a range of materials will be available for people to try, especially in the first session, so please don't feel you have to go out and buy expensive materials till you are sure what you want.
About St Mary's The venue is ground floor and has accessible facilities. There is limited parking on the street. There is a small kitchen for making teas and coffees etc,
