About this Event
The future of engineering is electric—and it’s arriving in Orange County on May 9th! ⚡🏎️
We are thrilled to announce the return of the Vital Link Electric Vehicle (EV) Challenge at Saddleback College ATEP. This isn't just a race; it’s the culmination of a year of grit, innovation, and hands-on problem-solving by over 250 Southern California high school students.
From designing aerodynamics to wiring custom power systems, these 25 student teams have built energy-efficient prototypes from the ground up. Now, they’re ready to put them to the test in a high-speed battle for efficiency and speed.
Want to get involved? Here’s how you can join us:
- Be a Spectator: Come out for a day of high-stakes racing, live music, and local food trucks. Witness the Innovation Expo and see these machines up close!
- Be a Volunteer: Help us keep the energy high! We need support with check-ins, track tracking, and crowd control.
- Be a Sponsor or Judge: Support the next generation of STEM leaders. Your expertise or financial support can make a direct impact on a student’s career path.
