Continuing to vary our DJ line-up, this month we are excited to give a warm "El Tango de la Gente" welcome to TDJ Chris Hine for the first time. Based in Manchester, Chris has been a Tango DJ for nearly a decade, after first being seduced by the dance about fifteen years ago. He has played at milongas across the north of England and selects music that he enjoys dancing to, mostly from the Golden Age interwoven with a few modern interpretations. We are looking forward very much to his set!Doors open 7.15pm.
If you have not been to our events before, we can advise that Upton Bishop Millennium Hall is spacious and modern, with room for social seating at one end. There is an excellent wooden dance floor, and the venue has its own large car park.
We use a good quality sound system with a speaker in each corner of the pista, because we want to be sure that dancers can always hear the music clearly.
Tea and water are provided and there will be a selection of cakes and nibbles. You are of course also very welcome to bring your own drinks and snacks
