Webinar Description:
Este webinar está dirigido a maestros que desean promover un ambiente de aprendizaje inclusivo. A través de actividades prácticas, los participantes aprenderán cómo el arte puede ayudar a integrar a estudiantes con diferentes habilidades y experiencias. Se presentarán ideas sencillas para adaptar proyectos artísticos que permitan la participación de todos, fomentando la empatía, el respeto y la colaboración en el aula. Al finalizar el taller, los maestros tendrán estrategias para usar el arte como medio de expresión y unión, promoviendo un ambiente de aprendizaje más equitativo e inclusivo.

Objectives:
1. Identificar la importancia del arte como herramienta inclusiva.
2. Diseñar actividades artísticas inclusivas para satisfacer diversas necesidades de aprendizaje.
3. Facilitar actividades que fomenten la empatía y la colaboración entre los niños pequeños a través de proyectos creativos.
4. Implementar proyectos artísticos adaptados a las necesidades individuales de los niños pequeños.
5. Utilizar métodos artísticos que promuevan un ambiente inclusivo en el salón de clases.


Speaker's Bio
Profesional dedicada al campo de la Educación Temprana y Superior, y Especialista en Desarrollo Profesional. Actualmente, cursa su doctorado en Enseñanza, currículo y ambientes de aprendizaje en la Universidad Ana G. Méndez. Obtuvo su grado de Maestría en Artes en Educación con una concentración en Supervisión Educativa de la Universidad Interamericana de Puerto Rico. Posee un Bachillerato en Artes en Educación Comercial de la Universidad de Puerto Rico. Cuenta con la Certificación Internacional de Coach, Conferencista y Capacitador de Maxwell Leadership. Las experiencias profesionales en el campo de la Educación Temprana comenzaron como asistente de maestra, continuó como maestra, fue Directora y Administradora de Centros de Cuidado Infantil. Lleva más de 16 años ofreciendo mentoría y talleres. Ofrece el curso Child Development Associates y creó la Certificación de Educador Infantil Virtual basada en el modelo educativo MEIV (Modelo Educativo Infantil Virtual). Es miembro de la National Association for Education of Young Children.


Host's Bio
El Dr. Mesh es psicólogo clínico y coautor del libro "Evaluación en la Primera Infancia: Guía Práctica para Evaluaciones Psicológicas y del Desarrollo en el Programa de Intervención Temprana." Ha trabajado con familias durante más de 30 años. El Dr. Mesh es cofundador y CEO de Los Niños Services, un programa galardonado de Educación Especial para la Primera Infancia en la ciudad de Nueva York, y fundador de Young Child Learning, que ofrece desarrollo profesional a maestros y profesionales que trabajan con niños pequeños. Asesora a profesionales y padres sobre los desafíos que enfrentan para ayudar a los niños pequeños a alcanzar su máximo potencial. El Dr. Mesh es autor del próximo libro Tapas: Poemas Inspiradores y Deliciosos (www.inspire.nyc).


Cancellation Policy:
If you cancel within 30 days before the event, the registration fee is not refundable. However, you will receive a credit for the registration fee which can be applied to another Young Child Learning event within the following 12 months. The processing fee is non-refundable.



Young Child Learning reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any Young Child Learning event for any reason and without notice. Young Child Learning is not responsible for any changes in travel arrangements, hotel, lodging or any other costs of participants should a Young Child Learning event need to be rescheduled or cancelled. Young Child Learning will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the event, and any registration fees paid will be credited towards the new event.
Special Accommodations or Requests.
Individuals with disabilities in need of special accommodations should contact the Admin, Cari Laroza at (212) 787-9700 ext. 3330 to make a request. The Admin will work with the team to provide the necessary accommodations. Requests for special accommodations must be made at least a month prior to the webinar date. Once accommodations are found, the Admin will confirm need for accommodations. Once the individual confirms, the special accommodations will be secured. If the individual finds that he or she is no longer in need of the accommodations, he or she must contact the Admin a week before the webinar date.

Grievance Policy & Procedure
Young Child Learning will comply with all legal and ethical responsibilities to be non-discriminatory in promotional activities, program content and in the treatment of program participants. The monitoring and assessment of compliance with these standards will be the responsibility of Young Child Learning. All grievances must be submitted in writing (via e-mail or mail) within 30 days of the end of the webinar date. Any supporting documents must be included with the submitted complaint. For all grievances, contact information (name, phone number, and email) must be provided in the case that the Young Child Learning team may need clarification.
