You're invited to join us for the Eighth Annual Prime Time Gala, an upscale banquet and country music concert that raises funds to fight hunger in South Dakota through Feeding South Dakota. This year's concert features GRAMMY, ACM, CMA, and AMA Award-winning group, Little Big Town! A portion of the proceeds from the gala, concert, as well as the silent and live auction and truck raffle at the Prime Time Gala, will directly benefit Feeding South Dakota to assist their efforts in providing more protein to food insecure families in our state.
Since hosting the first Prime Time Gala in June 2014, the South Dakota Cattlemen's Foundation has raised over $1,379,360 for Feeding South Dakota. Funds also raised at the event support scholarships awarded to a select number of students attending South Dakota schools interested in the improvement of beef production and promotion to aid in their education as well as the Fed Cattle Challenge. The Fed Cattle Challenge will provide an opportunity for youth (14 to 18 years old) to learn about the science and economics of finishing cattle by participating in a calf finishing program.
