Eigengrau

Eigengrau is a play about two debut authors who have written the exact same book

and fight over its originality and ownership within the imagined world of their

manuscript. It’s a response to the debate around AI, the writers’ strikes and the

idea/myth of the sole author.

Cecilia (She/Her) is a theatre-maker, composer and writer from the Netherlands. She

has studied Directing at Toneelacademie Maastricht and the Royal Conservatoire of

Scotland, and is based in London. An earlier version of Eigengrau was written as

part of her master’s degree.
