Eid Table at TRH Supper Club \u2013 A Journey Across Borders

This Eid, TRH Supper Club, in association with Immersive Trails Global, brings together a celebratory table that travels across cultures, tracing flavours from South Asia to the Middle East, Central Asia, and Southeast Asia — ending with a sweet note from Anatolia. Bangladesh From the heart of Bengali kitchens comes Kalia Shingara — crisp pastry shells stuffed with richly spiced mutton liver fry.
A festive reinterpretation of the beloved shingara, deeply rooted in Bangladeshi street food culture and celebratory gatherings. United Arab Emirates (Middle East) Inspired by Emirati and broader Middle Eastern culinary traditions, Murhamurra — a close cousin of hummus — reflects the region’s love for hearty, earthy dips made with legumes, tahini, and olive oil. Paired with a refreshing Mint and Watermelon Mojito, echoing the cooling flavours cherished across Gulf summers. Uzbekistan From the Silk Road kitchens of Central Asia arrives Plov, Uzbekistan’s national treasure. This aromatic mutton pulao, slow-cooked with rice, spices, and tender meat, embodies centuries of trade, migration, and shared food heritage. Malaysia The table travels further to Southeast Asia with Rendang — a slow-cooked chicken dish simmered in coconut milk and spices. Rooted in Malay culinary traditions, rendang reflects layers of indigenous flavours influenced by maritime spice routes. Turkey The journey concludes in Anatolia with Kunefe, a celebrated Turkish dessert.
Made with fine semolina or shredded pastry, filled with cheese and soaked in sugar syrup, it represents the grandeur of Ottoman-era sweets and festive hospitality. This Eid Table is not just a meal — it is a culinary passage through regions historically connected by trade routes, migration, and shared festive traditions. From Dhaka to Dubai, Tashkent to Kuala Lumpur, and Istanbul — every dish tells the story of its homeland.
