About this Event
This event will be looking at advancing artificial intelligence in constrained environments, such as embedded devices with limited processing power, memory, and power budgets.
Areas of discussion includes neuromorphic enabling AI to function offline or through on-device processing, ensuring low-latency performance, and addressing critical concerns around privacy and security.
We will also explore strategies for efficiently using bandwidth and overcoming challenges related to scaling AI models to fit within edge computing environments.
The day will feature presentations, a panel discussion, and a poster and demo session over lunch. The event is suitable for senior staff and early-stage researchers including PhD students.
Keynote Speakers - Michaela Blott (AMD) and Eiman Kanjo (Nottingham Trent University and Imperial College London)
Other speakers: Hamza Shakeel (Queens University Belfast), Mingming Liu (Dublin City University), Shreejith Shanker (Trinity College Dublin), Martin Trefzer (York University), Jim Harkin (University of Ulster), and Tatiana Kalganova (Brunel University)
