Are you an international student or newcomer to Canada (aged 18-35) settling in BC's Lower Mainland? Join our workshop to learn coaching tools that support your personal and professional development as you seek meaningful work and settle into your new life!
Workshop Overview
In this workshop, we'll help ensure your goals get in the calendar and get done. We'll walk you through a weekly approach to setting priorities, creating manageable to-do lists, and time-blocking them in your calendar. The session will also delve into myth-busting around prioritization and balance and offer practical tools to overcome challenges along the way.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
By the end of this workshop, you will:
- Identify your top priority or focus for this season in your life
- Gain tools to write manageable to-do lists
- Apply a replicable process to set and schedule weekly priorities
WHAT’S INCLUDED
↪ An overview of best-practice frameworks and approaches for:
- Prioritization
- To-do lists
- Time-blocking
↪ Exercises, including:
- Meditation and art-based reflection
- Prioritization using the Wheel of Life
- To-do list creation and refinement (using the “one thing” method, “to NOT to-do lists” and “parking lots”)
- Time-blocking using your digital calendar
↪ Peer discussions and collaboration
↪ Professional headshot taking!
