During this 3-hour session, you will explore what it takes to clearly and intentionally engage others in meaningful conversation. This course will transform your ability to connect, collaborate, and thrive in the modern workplace and participants will have the opportunity to practice multiple techniques that encourage dialogue between colleagues and clients.
You will learn to:
- Explore the two-way communication model;
- Examine the building blocks of effective communication: the attitude of empathy, non-verbal cues and body language, active listening, use of questions, and paraphrasing; and
- Identify potential communication roadblocks.
