About this Event
Students who are identified as both Multilingual Learners (MLs) and students with disabilities (SWDs) are referred to as dually identified students. Local education agencies (LEAs) must provide dually identified students with both the language assistance and disability-related services to which they are entitled under federal law. Please join Dr. Mary Yung, SELPA Executive Director at San Mateo County Office of Education on November 12, as she presents perspectives and equitable approaches to meet the needs of our dually identified students in our schools and districts.
