On May 21, 2026, the National Theatre in Bucharest will host a key event of the East European Music Conference 2026, which focuses on the live music industry in Central and Eastern Europe.The event highlights both the professional achievements and the artistic side of the industry, featuring a concert by 𝐀𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐬𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐚, a leading band in Romania and Moldova's alternative scene.
The Gala is the highlight of this year’s expanded conference, taking place from May 20 to 24 in Bucharest.

Alternosfera is a major force in the Romanian and Eastern European alternative rock scene. Over more than 20 years, the band has created a unique and recognizable style that deeply connects with its audience. Since forming in 1998, they have continued to grow and change their sound and ideas, while staying true to their identity and building a loyal fan base with each new album.

EEMC 2026 also offers a rich cultural experience throughout Bucharest, with events at venues such as ARCUB Hanul Gabroveni, Hilton Garden Inn Bucharest Old Town, and well-known alternative venues such as Control Club, Expirat Club, Quantic Club, and Apollo111. The program also includes film screenings at the National Museum of the Romanian Peasant.
