Eeland Stribling is one of those comics who just has it, recently winning the nationwide Don’t Tell Comedy Competition and quickly becoming a favorite among audiences across the country. We’ve built our reputation by booking comedians right before the rest of the world catches on, and if you’ve ever wanted to say “I saw them when,” this is your moment.

Secret Comedy Cleveland transforms unique spaces into a pop-up comedy club, featuring nationally touring headliners alongside the best regional and local talent. No two shows are the same — different rooms, different vibes, always a high-level comedy experience.

Past headliners from our shows have gone on to appear on The Daily Show, Saturday Night Live, Netflix, America’s Got Talent, The Joe Rogan Experience, Hacks, and major festivals like Just For Laughs — often shortly after performing on our stage. The Mahall’s Apartment is an intimate, limited-seating room designed to feel like you’re watching comedy in a friend’s living room... if your friend had great taste in comedians. Come early for dinner and drinks downstairs, then head upstairs for a night of live stand-up that’s perfect for date night, a group hang, or breaking out of your usual weekend routine.

Eeland Stribling — your aunty’s favorite stand-up comedian — recently moved to New York after rising through the Denver comedy scene.

He is the winner of the 2025 Don’t Tell Comedy Competition and a 2023 & 2024 New Faces selection at Comedy Works. Eeland tours nationally and has performed in cities including Boston, Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, and Austin, as well as festivals such as Laughing Skull, High Plains, 10K Laughs, Limestone, Flyover, Alaska Comedy Festival, and more.

Outside of comedy, Eeland is also a wildlife biologist and environmental educator. He’s been affectionately called the “Black Steve Irwin” and was featured on PBS’s Roots of Comedy with Jesus Trejo. He combines both passions in his hit series Comedians on the Fly, where he takes fellow comedians fly fishing while swapping stories, tangling lines, and occasionally catching a fish.

Don’t be fooled by his grumpy demeanor. Eeland’s got a heart of gold under all the sarcasm, and he’ll make sure you leave with a belly full of laughs, an animal fact, and a fresh take on everything from politics to penguins.
