Who can participate?
• Participants must be undergraduate students.
• Eligible majors include but are not limited to Electronics & Photonics, Electrical Energy & Power Systems, and Communication & Signal Processing.
• Participants should have a clear focus on disciplines related to Electronics & Photonics, Electrical Energy & Power Systems, and Communication & Signal Processing in their academic coursework or research projects.
• Submissions must align with the theme of the competition and showcase innovative research, projects, or concepts within the fields of electronics, power, or communication.
Date : February 12, 2024
Registration Deadline : February 10,2024
Place: ECE Building, BUET

We have some attractive prize money for the winners in the competition:
Champion: 5k BDT
1st Runner Up: 3k BDT
2nd Runner Up: 2k BDT
To provide further clarity on the competition rules, below are the essential details to keep in mind as you prepare:
1. Team member: Both individual and team submissions are welcome. Maximum 2 members can form a team. Its is encouraged to be formal in presentation but it is not mandatory to be formal.
2. Language: All presentations should be conducted in English to maintain uniformity and accessibility.
3. Research Topic: Research topic should be unique and interesting that can ignite the curiosity of others.
4. Poster : We will provide an editable illustrator file of the poster. You can edit that file, or can also design a new one.
5. Posters will be printed by IEEE EDS.
6. No Additional Props: In the registration form, you have to upload a illustrator file(must) of your poster. We will print it. It is not permitted to use extra materials or props during the competition. The speaker's capacity to clearly and concisely explain their study is what matters most.
7. Judging Criteria: Poster presentations are evaluated based on the clarity of the research question, well-organized content, and concise conclusions. Visual appeal, effective communication, originality, and contribution to the field are crucial, alongside an aesthetically pleasing design. Adherence to guidelines and an overall impactful impression also play key roles in the evaluation.
