In this dynamic professional development session, Cindy Meyers-Foley, GRAM Executive Director and CEO, will make the case that our future depends on developing learners who think like artists — curious individuals who ask questions, generate ideas, and embrace play.Explore strategies for fostering critical and creative thinking, engage in peer discussions, participate in hands-on creative challenges, and learn how to use the Think Like an Artist rubric to encourage creative behaviors and mindsets.
Participants will leave with simple projects to try in their classrooms and practical resources to support creativity in schools and communities.
SCECH credits (State Continuing Education Clock Hours) will be available for this session.
