From native plantings and pocket prairies to “soft landings” and pollinator-friendly design, you’ll walk away with ideas that work at a variety of scales from small yards to larger urban spaces.
This session will be led by Kaytlan Moeller, Dubuque County Conservation’s Mowing to Monarchs Coordinator, who works with communities and residents to convert underused turf into habitat. The presentation will highlight local success stories, common challenges, and simple steps you can take to start transforming your own landscape no matter your experience level.
