Join Verde Soul for a second guided plant walk at the Pump Track area of Finger Lakes State Park. During this walk we will continue exploring the incredible edible and medicinal plants growing along the trails and open areas of the park.
This walk builds on what we covered during our first visit, allowing returning participants to deepen their knowledge and learn additional plants and uses. However, this class is also perfect for beginners, and no prior plant walk experience is required.
Each walk focuses on the plants that are actively growing and visible during the season, so there is always something new to discover.
During our time together we will discuss:
• Identifying common edible and medicinal plants in Missouri
• Traditional and modern herbal uses
• Ethical and sustainable foraging practices
• Tips for beginning your own plant identification journey
🌱 Whether you attended the first walk or are joining us for the first time, you will leave with new plant knowledge and a deeper connection to the landscape.
