About this Event

Education Insights is an exciting new series of events launching early 2026 in 5 regions, delivered by The Teaching Awards Trust supported by Nord Anglia Education, each with a focus on a different prevelant theme in the education sector.

Why should you attend Education Insights: A Focus on Creativity:

How do we keep creativity alive in our classrooms and communities, and ensure it continues to thrive for the next generation? Join us for an evening of ideas, debate and inspiration at the iconic BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art in Gateshead, as we celebrate the power of creativity to shape lives, learning and the future.

This special event brings together some of the UK’s most engaging voices to explore why creativity matters now more than ever. Historian and broadcaster David Olusoga will reflect on the role of culture and lived experience in shaping identity and belonging. Chris Zarraga will consider the policy shifts schools most need to champion creative learning. Adrianne Chapman will share how the BRIT School embeds creativity at the heart of education, and Amanda Rennison will show how BALTIC connects schools and communities through art and imagination.

But this isn’t just about listening, it’s about celebrating and reimagining what’s possible. You’ll gather practical tools for your classroom, exchange ideas with fellow educators and creatives, and become part of a growing movement committed to keeping creativity central to education and community life.

Expect fresh perspectives, lively discussion, and moments of reflection, all within a setting that embodies curiosity and innovation. You’ll leave inspired, energised, and connected, with new ideas and partnerships to carry forward. Together, we’ll celebrate creativity not just as something to preserve, but as the spark that shapes the future.
