Capture the quiet charm of Edinburgh through light and colour in this relaxing, beginner-friendly workshop. You’ll explore a unique combination of oil pastel monoprint and soft watercolour gradients to create a glowing sky, then layer in simple yet striking silhouettes of Edinburgh’s iconic architecture.
This session is designed for all levels, whether you’re completely new or simply looking for a gentle, creative break. You’ll be guided step by step, while still having space to make the artwork your own.
All materials are provided, and you’ll take home your finished artwork, beautifully presented in a mount. A little piece of Edinburgh in sunlight, created by you.

Artist Intro:
Leah Yang is an illustrator and storyteller from Shenzhen, China, currently living in Scoland. She holds an MA in Children’s Book Illustration from the Cambridge School of Art. Her work has been exhibited internationally in London and Cambridge (UK), Tokyo (Japan), and at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair (Italy).
