Join our monthly meetup with Tobias Hofmeister as we discuss Ecosystem applications for a sustainable hydrogen business case
About this Event

We're back! Join us for breakfast, coffee, and great conversation with fantastic people from the Greentech community. For this session we will be joined by Tobias Hofmeister.
Nature operates on four key principles often overlooked in renewable energy: growth from simple to complex, zero waste, rapid experimentation, and adaptable building blocks. This talk explores how we’ve applied these principles to hydrogen compression and storage technology, creating modular, scalable, and portable solutions that drive business model innovation.

Learn how this design philosophy enables “low-cost” hydrogen use-case experiments, supports sustainable outcomes, and turns waste into value. We’ll dive into case studies, from shore power to waste treatment, to showcase how nature-inspired strategies can drive breakthroughs in hydrogen technology.

Join us for a thought-provoking discussion that blends natural principles with cutting-edge hydrogen technology—perfect for sparking dialogue and cross-industry collaboration. This event is open to anyone with an interest in sustainability or greentech, and you’ll have the opportunity to meet other people in the space and get to know the Edinburgh Greentech community.
