About this Event
Join Malcolm MacCallum, Curator of the Anatomical Museum at the University of Edinburgh, and Thomas Elliott, Head of Surgeons Hall Museums, for an evening talk inspired by our new temporary exhibition in collaboration with the University of Edinburgh. They will discuss the foundations that were in place within the city that eventually led to the founding of Edinburgh Medical School, the oldest in the English-speaking world. and some of the innovative factors that drove its early success.
