~Transition Dundee will be joined by the amazingly talented Chef Julia for our very first Edible Christmas Gifts Workshop ~
Christmas gifting need not be about spending lots of money, but rather spending a little time creating something we know our loved ones will appreciate. During this session, you will learn all about making your own edible Christmas Gifts in this hands-on 3-hour workshop. Julia will talk you through different recipes for several different sweet Christmas treats (inlcuding vegan, gluten free and low-sugar options), the ingredients and flavourings you might like to use, before you get a chance to make your own creations and take home a lovely box of home-made chocolates/sweets. They are so simple yet so impressive! Boxes will be included, but please bring a tupperware if you can for any extra creations as they likely won't all fit in your box.
You may also get the opportunity to sample some other edible Christmas Gifts, to inspire your sustainable Christmas gifting journey.
We will provide all the materials and ingredients you need as well as tea, coffee and biscuits.
- All recipes will be vegan (therefore dairy-free) and gluten-free, please let us know at the time of booking of any other allergies. If you are unsure, please get in touch before booking.
- Please note, this workshop is open to anyone over the age of 12, though 12 - 16 year olds must be accompanied by an adult.
- You must give us at least 48 hours notice if you cannot attend this workshop or we cannot refund your ticket cost. Eventbrite fees cannot be refunded.
- The sweets in the photographs are just for example and may not be the exact recipes used, but hopefully give an insight into the type of sweets we will be making
