We are excited to welcome Springfield Utility Board (SUB) for a hands-on activity for Spring Break this year!
Edible Aquifers with SUB is a presentation about aquifers and how they function, followed by the opportunity for students to make their own edible aquifer!
We will also have fun electricity-themed activities in the Kids & Tweens area that afternoon including Squishy Circuits and Snap Circuits!
SUB's program is geared to school-age youth K-12, and students under 14 need to attend with a parent or guardian.
*** The presentation times are 1:00 p.m., 2:30 p.m., and 4:00 p.m. in the Library Meeting Room right by the library! ***
We will have free advance tickets available for students (accompanying adults don't need a ticket), available to pick up in person at the library starting on Saturday, March 14th (one set per family). There will be room for some walk-in attendees on the day of the events.
Note: advance tickets are valid until ten minutes before the written start of the event so please arrive by the time you see on your ticket. We will fill remaining seats at that point. Space is limited and we appreciate your help in making the events run smoothly.
