About this Event
Developed and devised by Edge Two, Outside Edge’s intermediate acting group, this work-in-progress performance explores the group’s responses to the following poignant questions:
- How can art help our recovery?
- How can theatre support our abstinence?
- What stories can we tell that unravel the connection between making art and improving wellbeing?
Through characters, stories, song and movement, they want to share their discoveries and growth as they have engaged with the primary ethos of Outside Edge’s activities - using art to support recovery, wellbeing and health.
This work-in-progress performance is an opportunity for Edge Two to showcase the material they have been creating in front of an audience. It will be further developed for Outside Edge’s 25th Anniversary Celebration in March 2025.
Content warnings: Please be advised this piece contains themes of addiction and recovery.
After the show, there will be a Q&A with Edge Two's lead facilitator and performers.
