About this Event
Did you have Ed "Lucky" Luckiewicz as a teacher at Eastern or Lynn Tech? Do you remember his "baseball style" trivia game? Well now's your chance to relive the game, connect with friends and raise some money for LVTI's Scholarship Fund!
Mr. Luckiewicz's family has maintained his trivia questions and hundreds of his obscure facts. They'll be made into a modified "baseball style" trivia game that can accommodate multiple teams. Similar to STUMP Trivia, you decide the amount of points based on how confident you are in your answer.
Prizes for first place, raffles, and cash bar.
Doors will close to the public at 6:30pm. Teams should arrive by 7:00pm to play. Singles can be partnered with others to form a team.
Edward "Lucky" Luckiewicz, Jr.
Mr. Luckiewicz passed away in early 2021 after a brief battle with cancer. He loved playing cribbage and golfing with his wife Sue and sharing his trivia facts with his daughter Amy. A life-long residnet of Lynn, Lucky was a teacher in the Lynn Public Schools for 40 years. Although he taught history, government, civics, law, and geography, he often said his best lessons came one-on-one with a student, discussing life and its unexpected moments. He also loved giving a struggling student that "shot to succeed" during his famous basbeall-style trivia game. After retirement, whenever a former student came up to say "Hi Mr. Lucky," he would say "That's my gold watch. The best part of the job." We know he would have loved to play in this trivia game!
