Gorgeous Community, this June we welcome our first (and not our last) International DJ ... KINBANA! From the Caribbean Martinique, currently based in Bali, will be blessing us with his tasty and vibey nourishment as we SPIRAL our way towards the Winter Solstice.As we curl inward and downward towards the darkest aspect of the yearly cycle, we are invited to recognise the intelligence and brilliance that exists here. The seed of blossoming and expansion live right here in the centre of the spiral. Lets meet here and play with the expansion & contraction, swirling & grazing.

Kinbana is a multidisciplinary artist, DJ, dancer, and percussionist blending soulful House, Afro House, organic grooves, and live percussion into immersive dance experiences. Rooted in club culture and inspired by conscious movement and ecstatic dance, he creates spaces for connection, expression, and community through rhythm, music, and movement.

• WHAT IS ECSTATIC DANCE? •
We gather in dance temple to release and pray with our bodies
We dissolve our mind-selves and become guided by the innate intelligence within
We welcome & dance with and through whatever feeling, emotions and sensations travel through these connective tissue and neural pathways
We drop out of linear time and into organic rhythmicity
We find coherence with the collective field of dancers
