As naked blossoms fight for purchase on barren boughs – bold shoots press through Earth and cold, uncaring stone, claiming life – we let loose a mortal cry against the frigid silence of the void and rejoice in our earthly wails.
We rejoice in the joy, the intimacy of meeting each other in life-death cycle, our bloody embrace of existence as we birth ourselves into exultant cacophony, filling the eternal emptiness with our clamor – a birdsong, our burgeoning fetid desire.
We rejoice in the life that courses through soil, through fledgling veins – each flower, each blade of grass, an ecstasy of being.
Can we allow ourselves to dance with abandon at the beauty and splendor... To be me moved?
Can we meet ourselves with unabashed love, unapologetic – defiantly declaiming our presence?
We invite you to join us in this communion.
We will learn what it means to create a safe and supportive container to embody aggression and intensity of emotion. Our guides will be the comradery and freedom of mosh culture, and the sensitivity and care cultivated by contact improvisation.
Together, we will embark on this journey to integrate and fall in love with the deep dark from which existence proliferates, and makes possible the light.
