A Note on Beltane
Beltane marks the midpoint between the Spring Equinox and the Summer Solstice. Ancient cultures saw the "Turning of the Wheel" as a sacred transition that mirrored their own internal growth. In the winter, we go inward; in the spring, we plant seeds. Beltane is the moment those seeds burst into bloom. It is a celebration of Life Force.
Traditionally, Beltane was celebrated with "Need-fires." People would jump over bonfires to purify their spirits and ensure a fruitful year ahead. It is a ritual of cleansing the old to make room for the blossoming of the new.
Collectively we will re-create this ancient ritual using the hot springs as our tool for cleansing. How will you BLOOM into your summer?
"Forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair." — Kahlil Gibran
