About DJ MAGDALYN:
Magdalyn, founder of TrancenDance Ecstatic Dance Festival near Asheville, has spent more than a decade curating transformational festivals, conscious gatherings, and movement-centered experiences rooted in music, connection, and embodied expression.
A devoted dancer first and foremost, she has become a beloved presence within Asheville’s ecstatic dance community, known for weaving immersive sound journeys that invite authenticity, liberation, and play. Her sets fuse conscious lyricism, global rhythms, deep bass, organic textures, and juicy, booty-shaking beats into an alchemy of movement and feeling.
With an intuitive approach to energy and flow, Magdalyn guides dancers through waves of activation, release, celebration, sensuality, and connection, creating spaces where music becomes medicine and the dance floor becomes a living prayer.

OPTIONAL DANCE WORKSHOP with DeeAnn Maconsom from 6:45-7:10. DeeAnn of Conscious Movement 4 All will lead a grounding movement practice to help you settle into your body, connect with the space, and arrive fully present before our dance journey begins.
Ceremonial Cacao We’ll offer 2 oz. ($5) AND 4 oz. ($10) ceremonial cacao for purchase starting at 6:30 PM, creating a heart-opening ritual to prepare for the evening’s journey.
