THIS FRIDAY NIGHT WILL BE HELD BY ECSTATIC DANCE CARDIFF FOUNDER DJ SEA GYPSEE WHO WILL OFFER A MEMORABLE ECSTATIC DANCE AND LEAD A SOULFUL CACAO ACTIVATION. SHE WILL BE ACCOMPAGNIED BY NANCY ACKROYD AND HER ORIGINAL FOLK SONGS TO SING TO, GROUND & MELT YOUR HEART WITH. WE ARE BACK FOR OUR MONTHLY HIGH VIBE SOUL INVIGORATING GATHERING!

A year ago, a spark was lit, a tribe was born in movement's play. What an incredible journey we've been on since march 2024! With consistantly a 100 people per event, strangers have turned into friends, and we are growing authentic, supportive and more inspired than ever. One year already of music, art, sober exhilaration, soul and flight. Join us to celebrate this beautiful community for a one special night in the heart of Cardiff city!

This is the essence of what we want to create. More than just a party, (which of course it is too!) it is also a gathering that build meaningful relationships and connectivity, authentic purpose and loving kindness. We are community that learn how to tap into the natural ways to celebrate life and grow together.
On this night, we will enjoy a truly special venue where we'll meditate, set intention, dance freely, connect, lift up our energies to the highest states. A time to infuse our intentions as the sublime cacao, music and sounds circulate through our bodies. A time to fill our cups majestically, enliven our spirits in true community and remind ourselves how amazing we are! ✨🌈 💖

Arrival
6.30pm - 7pm
Delight in the stunning Temple of Peace. As you arrive, you can enjoy some beautiful locally sourced and organic food & drinks, the wellbeing area, contribute to the nature altar by making your own art and meet the beautiful people of this vibrant tribe
Cacao Activation w/ Intention Setting & Live Music
7pm - 7.20pm
At the beginning of this session, we will introduce ceremonial cacao. As well as being incredibly delicious, ceremonial cacao helps us to ground, enhance our dance experience and open our hearts. It can also gently guide us to connect with hidden dimensions of ourselves. At Mystic Cocoon we prepare cacao with great respect for the indigenous wisdom keepers of this master plant medicine, infusing it with prayers, songs and love during the whole preparation process ✨
As we sip Ceremonial Cacao with intention and through a guided meditation to open our hearts, we will call in an intention for this year. The effects of cacao can vary from one person to another, but you can expect an improvement of mood and pleasure, stimulation of mental alertness and heart expansion.
As well as being one of the most potent superfood on the planet, this ceremonial grade cacao will help you to reach a state of mild euphoria, without altering your consciousness. It's a beautiful heart-opener and with intention, it can help you enhance your wellbeing to the next level. It truly is the new way to dance without alcohol and we absolutely love it!

Embodied Warm Up & Ecstatic Dance
7:20pm - 9.10pm
You are invited to this safe, playful space, where the whole of you is welcomed. In this session, you will gently be guided to breathe, let go of stress, recharge and move as you feel. Dancing and cultivating authentic movement from the inside is deeply nurturing and healing. Be prepared to deeply connect with the elements, move, sweat, experience and enjoy!
🌊 Unlike clubbing, ecstatic dance sets are built like "waves" moving from slow and mellow, to very dynamic and everything else in between; gently guiding you to stretch your body and mind in many directions, to experience the vast spectrum of your emotions with mindfulness and wild abandon. Most of the time when people dance it is to look good to others, but here, we dance to connect with our authentic natural selves.
Closing Circle
9.10-9.15pm
We gather in circle to close the evening. This is a chance to feel connected in peace as a tribe. We tune into what is present within us, share and receive others experience in authenticity and non judgment. There will also be a chance to talk more after the dance.
Social Time
9.15-10pm
Bask in the post dance glow. No rush to go, you are welcome to stay a little longer to reflect on your journey, connect with others, and integrate the experience together. It's a time for good vibes and heartfelt conversations with high vibe food and drinks!

ECSTATIC DANCE IS A SPACE FOR US TO LET GO OF STRESS, RECHARGE, EXPLORE MOVEMENT AND RELEASE. AS WE LISTEN DEEPER TO YOUR BODIES, THE DANCEFLOOR OPENS THE DOOR TO FLOWING WITH OUR EMOTIONS, CONNECT WITH OTHERS AND EXPERIENCE EUPHORIC RELEASE. NO EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED AND THERE IS NO RIGHT OR WRONG WAY TO MOVE. THE FACILITATOR GIVES OPPORTUNITIES TO PLAY BUT WE ARE TOTALLY FREE TO ENGAGE OR DO OUR OWN THING WITH THE DANCE.

Sea Gypsee is an Ecstatic Dance DJ and facilitator on a mission to inspire people to boldly engage in their life with heart and soul. By re-connecting with our inner body wisdom and through the dynamic practice of the 5 elements, Seagypsee creates unexpected, sexy and fun DJ sets to feel free and feel ourselves from within.
Her sonic journeys are a mix of ethnic and tribal beats, amapiano, folktronika, deep house, afro house, world music, drum n'bass, psytrance, dub, medicine songs that weave a return to love, eros, tribe and nature. An somatic meditative dance to explore our edges, uplift our spirits and rejuvenate from the inside out.
Seagypsee is the creatrix of Ecstatic Dance Cardiff. She offers her unique energy in the conscious scene for places such as Ecstatic Dance UK in London, Love Ecstatic Dance Paris, Ecstatic Dance Brighton, Ecstatic Dance Bristol, Cosmic Dance in Frome, Baumka Conscious Clubbing in Manchester and also creates offerings at conscious festivals such as All About Love, Medicine Festival, Boomtown, Anthropos among others, as well as holding embodiment retreats in France.

Nancy’s songs span from personal to powerful, from tender folk to joyful reggae flavours. Brought together in her most recent beautiful album ‘Light the Lamps’, she is currently recording her new album and invite us to sing together as we connect with the essence of life and the wilderness. She has played at festival like Coed Ffest and All about Love. Living in the beautiful eco community of Coed Hills Rural Arts Space in Wales where nature is master and source of inspiration, Nancy will invite us on a tour of the seasons in the woods and fields of their Vale of Glamorgan. Enriched with her grounded presence and beautiful melodies we'll sing together, activate our voices and harmonise before the dance.
