Ecstatic Dance Bath
Join us for music, movement, and connection in our inclusive space at Ecstatic Dance Bath.
This magic gathering features guest DJ Josh Silver to take you on a musical journey designed to inspire free expression on the dance floor. No choreography, no expectations - just space to move however feels right for you and some great tunes.
We will also have wonderful Gaby Cox guiding us in Qigong to begin. And acoustic singer-songwriter Amy Bisazza will bring us home with a beautiful live acoustic set to finish.
We invite you to come and connect with us in community and express yourself freely in this growing movement practice.
What to Expect:
9:30am – Arrive, check-in, remove shoes, enjoy cacao/tea + intro music/warm up
10:00-10:30am– Opening Circle and Qigong with Gaby
10:30 - Dance with DJ Josh Silver
10:30 am – Doors close (entry ends)
12:00–12:30 pm – Music winds down, closing set with Amy Bisazza, then closing circle
Move freely: dance, lie down, stretch, or be still — all at your own pace.
✨Qigong with Gaby Cox 💫
Gaby has trained extensively with the College of Contemporary Therapy in London and is both a qualified Golden Spine 9 Qigong Teacher and an NCIP accredited Integrative Psychotherapist.
She specialises in Soul Plan energy activations and Soul Transformation Therapy and brings these beautiful modalities into her Qigong sessions to help clear, release, activate and transform energy from within.
What is Qigong?✨🙌✨
Qigong (also known as Chi Kung) is an ancient Chinese healing art like Tai Chi, involving:
-Mindful movement
-Gentle breathwork
-Meditation
All designed to improve physical, mental and emotional well-being.

Josh Silver is a DJ, facilitator, and co-founder of Ecstatic Dance Somerset. He is passionate about bringing dance to the collective as a form of healing, believing deeply in the transformative power of movement and music. Josh creates sacred, open, grounding, and joyful dance spaces where participants of all levels feel safe to explore and express themselves.
A double graduate of the “Dance the Medicine” school, Josh is also trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS), blending conscious movement with psychological insight to welcome all parts of ourselves into the dance.
Josh has played at events across the UK since 2021 including Dancing the Elements (Bristol), ED UK, ED Bath, ED Brighton, Dance Medicine Glastonbury and Rave OM Cornwall, and holds residencies at ED Norwich, ED Twickenham and the UK’s first Highly Sensitive Person (HSP) retreat in Devon. With over two decades of DJ experience, from spinning rave vinyl to curated sound journeys, Josh creates immersive, heart-opening sets across an eclectic mix of genres.

Amy Bisazza is a poet, acoustic singer-songwriter and yoga teacher, she has worked with the healing aspects of sound and vibration within Mantra, Prayer and Gong Meditation for over 20 years. She has witnessed time and time again that Intention + frequency = Healing/Medicine.
She is also part of the Sacred Sound duo Earth (earthmantra.net) and is The Spiritual Wellbeing Lead at Avanti School, inviting children to explore meditative practices like the art of listening within sound & silence and self-enquiry.She offers concerts and sound meditations on retreats, privately, community sessions, and has recorded and released music available on all platforms...

👣What to Wear and Bring
We dance barefoot and best to wear comfy clothing you would ordinarily wear to dance freely/attend a yoga class.
Water bottle. There is a kitchen close to the dance floor where you can refill.
Blanket/shawl - you may wish to bring something to wrap yourself up in for comfort/containment at the end.
Yoga mat - you may wish to bring a mat with you, again for comfort at the end if you prefer this to sitting on our wooden floor.
